Use the command _ (underscore) and/or % (percent) for blocking an ip-range
_ stands for a single digit (0 - 9) or (0 - 5)
% stands for more digits ( 0 - 255)
Examples:
80.40.240.211 <= blocks ip-address 80.40.240.211
80.40.240.% <= blocks the range from 80.40.240.0 to 80.40.240.255
80.40.%.% <= blocks the range from 80.40.0.0 to 80.40.255.255
